- Lebanese cucumbers or 1 English cucumber, crushed with the back of a knife and cut into pieces
- 1 Tbsp
- of sea salt
- 2 Tbsp
- of rice vinegar
- 2
- garlic cloves, grated
- 1 CAT
- of soy sauce
- 1 CAT
- of granulated sugar
- 1
- bird's eye chilli, thinly sliced
Directions
- Step 1
- Disgorge the pieces of cucumber by putting them in a fine colander and mixing them with the salt. Place the colander in a bowl and refrigerate for ten minutes.
- Step 2
- In a bowl, put all the rest of the ingredients and mix.
- Step 3
- Take out the cucumber pieces and drain well. Add to bowl mixture.
- Step 4
- Put back in the refrigerator for about ten minutes to soak up the flavors.
- Step 5
- Enjoy immediately.
